James Squire Bottle Lever

An iconic Australian beer producer with an origin set in the days of privateers and smugglers, James Squire was looking for a willing crew to create the world’s most distinctive bottle opener. We were the natural choice after they saw our work for The Macallan.

We bridged centuries and merged pirate pistol vibes with modern bespoke manufacturing techniques. The end result was a truly stunning yet functional piece of art - crafted of machined titanium, rosewood and timascus, all mated to cast silver.

In true outlaw style, this project had the added excitement of long odds to meet an impossible deadline. We leaned on our vast network of incredible collaborators to take the project from idea to finished good in three weeks.
